The Sorin Oak Review is the St. Edward's University Literature and Arts Journal. After a year in the Junior Designer position, I was able to exhibit complete creative freedom as Senior Designer. This multi-part project required working with an advisor and student editor to create a call for submissions, the final publication and announce and distribute free copies to the student public.

To announce an open call for submissions, Katy O'Neill and I examined how to contain a dense amount of information while stressing an important date. We stayed up late screen printing these with colors that evolved as we printed.

The final publication, a 9x9-inch offset printed, perfect bound book of 100 pages, highlights work from students and alumni. Prose, poetry and art that fill the book was student selected from a pool of jurors.
Designed in collaboration with Katy O'Neill.

To advertise the printing of the publication we featured snippets of artists prose in black and white on cheap bond paper.
